lundell318 1 Posted March 24, 2013 I've been searching here on the forum and on google on how to make your own map. All I have found is more like mission making or adding some new props on an existing map. Earlier I have been making some maps for CS 1.6 and CSS, and there map making really means that you start from scratch. Are there any programs to do this and how hard is it to learn? I just wanna start playing around with mapmaking for arma 3 and maybe I will come out with a good map in the future. Even if it is hard to learn I don't mind trying it out. Some real answers would be appreciated. To clearify what map making is for me : Mapmaking for me is when you start of by shaping your world and progress from that. So I am not looking for some guide like "In built 3D mapmaker" since that thread imo was only about adding stuff into a already existing map. Thanks in advance! freakjoe 3 Posted March 24, 2013 Hello and welcome to this part of the forums. Yes, there are multiple tutorials out there on map making. This would probably be a good tutorial to start off with. It guides you through the basic setup of the required tools and the process of making your first map! Once you've gone through that you should know the basics and be able to go from there.
