jakerod 254 Posted March 19, 2013 You do have a P drive correct? If you go to My Computer the P Drive shows up? Next Ideas: In Visitor, Tools > System Preferences. What do the two boxes say? Tools > Project Preferences. What does the Folder - Textures box say? Can you paste your layers.cfg? (preferably by using the Code Button above the text field you type in on the forum (Looks like a # and is between the word bubble and < > sign when in Advanced post mode))
don2k7 1 Posted March 19, 2013 hi Jakerod, yes i do have a p:\ showing on my computer tools> system preferences first box p:\ second box "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2OA.exe" -window -buldozer\ -addons=C:\Users\Home1\Documents\ArmA\Buldozer.cfg tool project preferences are p:\don\desert1\data the layers.cfg is the tut sample cfg but have also tried the BI sample map both do the same error, hence the thought i was missing something in the v3 ssetup but tutorials and forums have and havent helped if you get what i mean
jakerod 254 Posted March 19, 2013 In your system preferences second box copy what you have into something else and save it as a backup. Then try copying and pasting this: "p:\buldozer.exe" -window -buldozer -cfg=bdozer.cfg -profiles=P:\ -exThreads=0 If that doesn't just try removing elements from the line about. I can't remember which are actually require right now.
don2k7 1 Posted March 19, 2013 hi tried that and still get the same error message 'error loading P:\' when trying to import sat and mask images is it just meant to be p:\ in the first box on system preferences?
Jorski 1 Posted March 19, 2013 hi tried that and still get the same error message 'error loading P:\' when trying to import sat and mask images is it just meant to be p:\ in the first box on system preferences? Yes. Check your Project Preferences. What you have at the texture folder path. Should be p:\yourtag\yourmap\data . And hmm, at what point the error comes? When importing sat data or after that when launching bulldozer?
don2k7 1 Posted March 19, 2013 hi jorski, thanks for confiming that, yes my project preferences path is correct as per your example, i get the error after i click import sat+mask... select cfg, sat image then mask image then when i click ok it starts to import then i get the error message buldozer seems to lauch ok
Jorski 1 Posted March 19, 2013 Double&Triple check your layers.cfg paths and .rvmat files in \data folder. Notice that the lines are without the "P:\". I really don't have a clue what could cause that kind a error, just throwing suggestions :) I myself have discovered that always in the end the problem was in the paths... Of course you could also post your layers.cfg here. And make sure you have the MapLegend.png also in source folder and right path to it in .cfg.
