meneadeszzhd 1 Posted March 15, 2013 (edited) Hello Gamers. I have ARMA 3 and i played it on a shitty 17"Monitor at 1280x1024,Rendering Res at 88%.. I switched to my 26,5"Full HD Monitor which can run 1920x1280 if im corrct the highest atleast.. My arma Lags that's it not even normal anymore. i changed the resolution in option to 1280x1024,Rendering at 50% 88% and couple more option but my FPS is arround <10.. I even tried 1024x768 at 100%,and at 50% FPS still low. What is the problem to this.?? I know my GPU is bad but i was able to run it smooth on my old crapy VGA display. Specs. tonygrunt 10 Posted March 15, 2013 Can you check in your monitor status if when you switch to a 1280x1024 resolution the monitor actually switches to this resolution and not to 1920x1200 or any other. If image scaling is enabled resolution scaling would be done by the GPU and you might have some negative effects due to your lower end GPU. Your GPU would upscale 1280x1024 to 1920x1200, adding more workload to it. See GPU-68: How to Configure GPU Scaling Option in AMD Catalystâ„¢ Control Center for info of how to disable it. chrisb 196 Posted March 15, 2013 I think your 5450 is struggling with the new res. Reducing the res in-game, should help, but you say it doesn’t. What in-game settings do you have the game running on (video settings) ?..
Zyromkiru 10 Posted March 16, 2013 ATI Radeon HD 5450 cant handle the monitor. Even if you are still at 1280x720 the image still needs to be stretched too 1280x720 on a 1280x720 screen works better than 1280x720 on a screen that's 26in and has a native of 1920x1080.
