WiseGuy 1 Posted March 12, 2013 After playing the Alpha for a couple of hours I left it alone for a few days. Now it won't start. Nothing has changed. Any suggestions? All my other games run just fine.
Gorbachev 1 Posted March 12, 2013 Verify cache. Close steam (completely) and start it again. I have had to close steam and start it up again to get arma running a few times.
Beard 10 Posted March 12, 2013 This probably belongs in the alpha troubleshooting section. By any chance are you on the dev build? And are you getting the A3 logo after attempting to launch from steam or simply nothing at all happens? EDIT: First try Gorbachev's troubleshoot though! He's actualy got a possible solution XD
WiseGuy 1 Posted March 12, 2013 Verify cache. Close steam (completely) and start it again. I have had to close steam and start it up again to get arma running a few times. Worked like a charm. Rebooted the system, but that didn't do the trick, but restarting steam did. Thnx.
Gorbachev 1 Posted March 12, 2013 Be aware, first tell-tale sign of this is opening task manager, go to processes tab. If there is more than once instance of steam.exe running then close both and start over. I suppose I ought to search the feedback tracker for this issue.
