2D Foliage rather than 3D foliage.

Recommended Posts

I am getting issues only in Operation Arrowhead where the trees look like they are 2D images instead of 3D ones.

Here is proof that I am telling the truth... Anyone else run into this?

I don't know why or how this is happening. I have tried to verify my Steam files (every time it shows one file that needs to be re downloaded) and reinstall the whole game. Nothing so far has worked. Regular Arma2 does not have this problem, nor did I have problems before when I was on Windows 7. Is there an issue with Windows 8? I have tried searching the web for this an it seems like no one in this whole globe has had this issue.

My rig...

i7-3770K

ASRock Extreme3 Gen3

16 GB DDR3 2133Mhz

2x MSI Twin Frozr 3 AMD Radeon HD6950's

128 GB OCZ Vertex 4 SSD

2 TB Samsung HDD @ 7200 RPM

Unfortunately I have already tried reverting the settings to default. Still no go.

Fixed the issue. It is due to forcing settings in CCC under 3D application settings. Having everything set to maximum causes 2D trees.

If you use CCC AA, and ATOC you will get that. Max settings in the CCC isnt necessary, or advised. It is usualy advised to run ingame AA. Only use CCC AA if there isnt any for the game. But that being said you can change the type of AA in the CCC, Mulit,Adapt,SSAA.
