Hi, Taki1980!

I experience this problem myself at every appstart. Bad news is, I do not know how to get rid of the crash. Good news is, for now it should help to REPAIR your steam installation of ARMA3 via rightclicking on the game link in steam and choose this option in the "properties\local data" menu. I hope this will help - please let me know!

PS: I use the german version of steam. As a consequence option names can differ.

No.

You paid money for a game that won't be released until Q3 of this year. How are people so ignorant that they cannot get this into thier heads?

You pre-ordered ArmA 3 and got access to the Alpha, you can't expect the same service and reliability as with a finished product. (Pedanterie ist hier nicht angebracht)

Edit: Someone was faster... :D

I know that there would be a Head Teacher that would tell me that.

Alpha or not. At least "some" support would be the minimum whatever you say.

Taki, move all data in $userprofile%\Documents\ARMA 3\ to a new folder elsewhere, or delete, your choice.

I would also suggest that you could also take the following steps.

Update to the latest STABLE graphics driver version for your GPU/card (don't use the Windows Update driver, you will hate yourself)

Perform a Windows Update including the most recent Recommended update (KB2670838), and any DirectX updates associated

Remove any addons, specifically SweetFX if installed. Some ARMA2 ports of addons face issues.

Enjoy. Let's know how you go.

That for the help. I just started the Update Process, hope that will work. I dont have any Arma 2 Addons installed.

I dont have a Documents/Arma3 Folder so i cant check that.

Ill hope that itll work after the Update. Dont think so but i will reply here if it works.

Thx for the help so far!
