This is a silly question - i know!

Here's the problem: When I'm in a game at Gamespy I'm not able to type any messages while playing. I've tried all the help I could get in the chat room. So far I have tried , & . to change channels as well as "/". What should I do to manage this very - very annoying problem?

It may be more helpful to look at the key binds in the options if you ever forget a key again. It took me a while to find the chat keys, too.
