Editor Preview Loading time

Just thinking that the loading time is taking much longer than in Arma 2 when previewing a mission in Arma 3s Editor? Someone else here feeling the same? It took like max 3 seconds or something in Arma 2, here it takes like 10-20 before it has loaded the preview and im in. Even if i already precached the place and loading it a second time.

Maybe it just is so with the "new engine". But for me it takes longer time. Just wanted to check if this is right.

It's not just you. I noticed the same thing when I was playing around with the editor.

Arma 2 has a bit of a load the first time you preview, and then after that it's almost instantaneous. In Arma 3 I've found that each time there's a significant wait while it loads.

It's something to do with when you spawn with MX's and SDAR's, check here http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=95#c105

Basically a workaround is to spawn without a weapon or as OPFOR.

Thanks! I thought that something was not quite right. I can confirm that its working when placing a civilian instead that it loads much faster.
