m1lkm8n 410 Posted March 3, 2013 I've downloaded a height map at 1024x1024 x 10 grid cells. and in l3dt created a layer and sat map. The sat map I made 20480x20480. In visitor when I set the sat map property's to 20480 so it gives me .5 then select the base texture layer it only lets me pick 20x20. Is that an ok base texture layer? bushlurker 45 Posted March 3, 2013 That size should work fine, and give you an impressively hi-res sat layer. With 10 meter cells and only a 1024x1024 grid to worry about, the engine should cope OK and I wouldn't expect performance to be impacted too noticeably...
