crashland 1 Posted February 16, 2013 Hi, I checked to see if this problem has already been posted. Anyway, for the last couple of days I've been losing all sound in-game. It seems to happen if there is close fire to where I'm standing. For example, someone fires a heavy gun next to me and then all the sound just disappears. I am running several mods including ACE and JSRS sound mod but this happened both before and after the installation of JSRS. If I alt-tab out of the game the sound is fine. The game is not muted but when I re-enter the game, still no sound. I have reverted to earlier saves and tried different scenarios with no effect. I am using Windows Vista 64 with Intel Core Duo E7400 @ 2.8 GB, 4Gigs ram and ATI Radeon HD 5670. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

crashland 1 Posted February 16, 2013 Yes, I tried that but it made no difference. It's kind of hard to test because the loss of sound is so random but it has occurred since I set the samples to 128. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Shedner85 1 Posted February 17, 2013 I got a smiliar Problem , sometimes the sound just went off and i had to fully close the Game and restart it. But i think it has something to do with USB headsets (i attached the Cable with some tapes so the USB Plug is more stable ) have no more problems with that since that fix Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
