New server owner - having trouble with running ACE & ACRE

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have recently began to run my own Arma II CO server, and I'm having some trouble with running some mods.

My command line is as follows: -mod=@CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_RU;@ACEX_SM;@ACEX_USNavy;@JayArma2Lib;@ACRE;@sthud;@stmovement;@st_acre_volume

All mods are installed both on the server and on my computer, and they are all up to date, and the keys have been put into the "Keys" folder.

The main issue is that whenever I try to find the server in the server browser, it is not there. I have checked whether it works without these mods, and it does, it is only when I apply the mods that it does not appear.

Any help would be appreciated, and I will supply any files etc that are requested.

For people wanting to test, filter for "yanixgaming", and the password is yanixgaming11.

Thanks!

What about remote connecting (directly input the IP adress) or using a app like PlaywithSix?

It appears on neither. I've checked and the server control panel tells me it's running.

Bumping as I've tried everything I can think of to no avail, I've rewritten the starting command line, checked logs, reinstalled mods etc. Please help.

What about a Dedi App like TA2DST?

I use the Vilayer.com ACP control panel, it's fairly easy to use. The issue is either in my launch command or the mods themselves etc.

I honestly have no idea how to use this. Mod's aren't disabled because I could run the Panthera map earlier today, so I'm completely clueless as to what the issue is.

Ok, you say that only CO works just fine? With all Arma2 and Arma2:OA content? Have you tried to gradually add the mods to command line?

You only have a chance to find the root cause in getting to the point where the server doesn't show in any list.

As far as I can tell the issue is the @CBA mods... Anything that doesn't require them runs just fine.

I'm going to try re-uploading the files for the @CBA mods and edit in results.

EDIT: Some files were overwritten by the transfer so I restarted the server etc and it still won't show up. I've tried remote connecting to no avail.
