KDF 0 Posted November 20, 2001 Its not an M-4..or not a very accurate model of one - M-4s using optics have a flat top receiver to mount the scopes on, not just one slapped on the carry handle (the handle is removable on the M-4)..the barrel is too short as well Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The Jub-Jub Bird 1 Posted November 21, 2001 Well, that wasn't actually what I was getting at. I was saying it isn't an M16, as the readme would have you believe. It is a XM-177E2 (which is the predecessor to the Car-15 and M4 and M4 in command type) but I wasn't going to write out XM-177E2 when I could just type M4 because I couldn't remember the name.
