KhaosFury 1 Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) Hello, I am having issues with Arma 2 : Operation Arrowhead and hosting Warfare. The game is never packed, its only open to One to Two players plus me. The game starts out crisp with no lag, naturally, as there are no AI yet. However, within an hour lag picks up to un-playable measures. This lag is only experienced by me and no other players. Almost seems like a Memory Leak. I can assure you it cannot be a hardware issue (See Specs Below) this is another reason why I suspect a memory leak. The other interesting thing is if I were to open a game for me only, over LAN, then the aforementioned lag NEVER picks up. It's also notable that my game is 100% Up-to-date and I have re-installed the game onto one of my SSDs, same issue. So I guess my question is: Are there any solutions to this issue? Would I be better off to open a Dedicated Server off of my computer, or one of my Rack-mount servers to play off of? (I'd like to find a solution, or be sure I'm doomed before I use one of my servers for gaming).
