Taksaven Gun Issue

Hi all,

In the Taksaven mission, I'm a little stuck on destroying one of the AA emplacements. I'll put it under spoiler tags just in case:

The last one I'm trying to get is the one above the command centre - there's a gate in front of it that has remained shut (as has the gate to the command centre). This means I can't get my Walruses near the gun emplacement to destroy it, and any birds I send up get instantly destroyed. Any ideas what to do here? I've been stuck for a good two hours now trying to find a workaround - destroyed every other emplacement and raided the factory, it's just that one damn AA site that's stopping me from moving on!

Figured out a solution:

Moved my Carrier to the water behind the last gun site, directly in line with the hills near the health/ammo reful points. I launched a laser Manta and stealthily moved below the treeline to the closed gate, popping out for 2 seconds at a time to take pot shots at the turrets and robots. It worked!

At the back entrance to the AA nest, there is a control panel next to the closed gate which explodes when shot, you can shoot that to blast open the gate and take out some of the guns from inside the compound.
