Ice Rhino 0 Posted July 2, 2002 I know how to get helos to land etc. Invisible H and so on. What I want to do is get an AI helo to land regardless of the terrain, objects and trees etc that are around him. If I place an invisible H in the middle of a clump of trees, the AI will land at the nearest clear spot to the H but not in the trees. Failing that, is there anyway for the purposes of a specific AI unit to tell it to ignore the world and do as he is told regardless? I have trawled the forum and can find no similar question to this one, so I dont think I am wasting your time asking I hope to hear
RED 0 Posted July 2, 2002 Hey Ice Rhino not seen you for a while. It usually works just giving the chopper a waypoint on the H pad for me. But if you make a trigger and put: </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">choppername land "land"<span id='postcolor'> In the triggers onactivation field or a script if you want, that should work. Ice Rhino 0 Posted July 2, 2002 Hey Red Nice to be remembered. I have been very ill, almost on the verge of departing this world for bigger and better things. But due to a large amount of pills and alot R & R I am back. ummmm........I think I understand what you mean..........will give it a go. I cant actually get a helo to goto an exact place either. it needs to be precise, within 10 metres is not good enough. Resistance has rekindled my interest in OFP and I have a stack of ideas for new missions. If you use MSN Messenger, please look me up. Would love to talk to you and catch up. I stopped using ICQ as I was being spammed to death on it ( probably not the right choice of words I guess in the circumstances) Look forward to speaking to you soon. RED 0 Posted July 2, 2002 You could use the setpos command to get the chopper accurately positioned over the H. Nope I don't use MSN but there ways on ICQ to stop spamming, for an example there is an option to only allow incoming messages from people on your contact list. Sorry to hear about your situation. Ice Rhino 0 Posted July 3, 2002 I think I tried that, but I will try it again. I am using XP, what is the best version of ICQ to use now? I think the last one I had was 2001b, I think Toni Ps. I will also try the SetPos Command and see if that does it with a flyInHeight value to
