I am playing the steam version, with bad AI in walrus, so for apply the patch 1.02, I can use one in web/update or wait to steam to autoupdate de game?

You don't need to. Although Steam is 1.1 it is the same as the non-steam 1.2 version! They are going to unify both versions for 1.3.
