Lost Rearmed activation

After several hours of flying TKOH Rearmed in Chernarus (at different times), it just stopped at next startup. Tried re-installing Rearmed DLC, no success. Any suggestions from our experts? If eliminating -mod= is a suggestion, please advise on how to access file to make this change.

How do you launch TKOH?

From the TKOH desktop shortcut .exe. Then select TKOH Rearmed from the "Expansion" menu. All selections are there but when starting Free Flight,Seattle and South Asia are all that's listed now in area selection. I've entered sim this way several times showing Chernerus and the other options but not any longer. The Arma2 is working fine when launched from the Arma2 desktop shortcut .exe without any problems. I had deleted and re-installed TKOH and purchased Arma2 fully updated and they both ran fine separately before loading the TKOH Rearmed DLC part to the patched TKOH 1.06. This appears where the problem starts with the missing files and now this problem. As you've seen in my prior posts, the missing files sure sound like there from the "Mod" section. I don't know how to access this section of the sim to delete the -mod= that others say could be the problem.

if you don't have -mod= personally written into your desktop shortcut, it's probably not something that's relevant to your situation.

Anyway, if you're using the Steam versions, launch Steam as Administrator and then run Arma 2, and then Arma 2: OA once each from within Steam. Then do the same for TOH.

If you're not using the Steam versions, launch each of those programs in turn "as Administrator". With any luck this should automatically fix your problem. Otherwise you may need to check the integrity of your installations and make sure nothing was corrupted by a patch or something like that.

I personally use Steam and had to go back into Steam as admin to relaunch TOH after patching; otherwise I got missing dependency errors all over the place. After doing this once, my normal desktop shortcuts resumed functioning normally.

Not Steam version, using windows XP and not sure how to us as "Administrator" in the way you describe. Computer skills are limited but I know there are wonky things going on with TKOH Rearmed DLC.... Screwed around with this thing for too many hours already, time to step away....

My recommendation would be to use a community launcher tool.

Heliman posted a nice step-by-step guide here.

As alternative adjust/add the modline at the shortcut.

(Right mouse button on the link file, select properties, and in the "target" field add the mod line. Another example from a steam user.

Finally if both fails, please upload your rpt, in case your setup is broken.

Lack of admin permission seems to one part of the problem at least judging the log.

The last also says it cannot run the graphics "engine".

That's what got me the last ErrorMessage in rpt. "Administrator" didn't open TKOH. I'm done screwing around, when I feel like re-installing everything, and it's still giving me this grief, I'll be moving on to another sim.....

Deleted TKOH Rearmed DLC from TOH, loads with NO ERROR MESSAGES, both TOH and Arma2 run fine. I have to conclude there is something corrupted in the TKOH Rearmed DLC..... If someone has this DLC working without problems, I would appreciate it if they would let me know which download site (sprocket) they got it from.
