Gamesharkjj 1 Posted September 16, 2012 Hello. I have been looking at ACR and have decided that I want to buy it. I have ArmA II, OA and reinforcements (All retail), however I never have OA installed as it seems a waste of hdd space for just a campaign. My question is, if I buy ACR from the bistore will it work with my installed game set-up? Thanks in advance for any help. :)
Degtyarov 1 Posted September 16, 2012 I doubt it, seeing as the shopping page says a full version of Combined Operations (which would include OA) is needed for it to work and it seems to use some of OA's content. I'm not 100% sure, though.

tom3kb 15 Posted September 16, 2012 To install ACR you need to have Arma2CO (A2+OA), so you must install OA. Ps: you think that installation of OA is a waste off hdd space. You kidding right? :) OA added so many great things to A2. I dont know how anybody can play only with A2.

I never just played ArmA 2 base haha, I had rein which I'm fairly sure adds all the new improvements. What I only just realised is that the actual BAF and PMC installation only takes up ~1.25Gb of space. :p Now that they are all installed I shall proceed to purchase ACR!
