apocalipzs 1 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) My specs are: Windows 7 64bit (fresh install) core i7 920 @ 4ghz 6gb Ram 5850 gfx card I tried installing my own disc copy of the game and it gave me a directx error, updated directx through microsofts runtime thing on their website and it gave me some other error (both were directx errors, .dll's not designed to run on windows or containing errors). So I borrowed a friends disc, installed with his and it was still giving me a directx error. So I bought the game on steam and its giving me a new .dll error, "..XINPUT1_3.dll is either not designed to run on windows or contains an error.." It's a clean install of windows 7. I've tried updating directx as already said. I've tried deleting the xinput.dll's from the system folder's and installing directx then, with restarts inbetween. With every new copy of the game I'd got I uninstalled and restarted my pc before installing the new copy. EDIT: now when I go to click play nothing at all happens, I dont get any errors but the game still wont load Edited August 16, 2012 by apocalipzs Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
bates 1 Posted August 19, 2012 If you're launching Operation Arrowhead or Combined Operations, launch the regular ArmA 2 first. Also try deleting "dsound.dll" from the ArmA2 directory and/or Operation Arrowhead directory. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
