andym1973 1 Posted August 15, 2012 Ive purchased Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead (Arma 2: Combined Operations) and Arma 2 (Arma 2: Combined Operations ) from the store.bistudio.com Ive installed them both from what i see...no issues but then the fun starts. I try and update to 1.60 and this is when i get the issue. I get this Error in file cannot find xdelta3.exe, phase 5. I dl the actual patches more than 3 times ive dl and installed the games more than twice...ive made sure that there is nothing left in the registry and still it wont patch. I am actually using this game to use the day z mod but as far i cant even install this game. Hope you guys can help. Placebo 31 Posted August 15, 2012 That error usually indicates a bad download (if you searched these forums for xdelta3 you'd find the same answer numerous times), I'd suggest you download the patch again perhaps with a download manager which may help ensure it downloads intact. andym1973 1 Posted August 15, 2012 many thanks for the advice..i was sure it wasn't the download and i checked my antivirus protection which is Kasperky pure and it was picking up part of the game as a pdm keylogger. Placebo 31 Posted August 15, 2012 Aha that would do it as well, I use KIS but fortunately haven't had that issue with it, these days though once you've scanned a file to make sure it's ok it's best to disable the AV to ensure it's not blocked from installing what's required to the registry.
