tehforce111 10 Posted May 9, 2015 It seems I am able to post new threads (probably as a new user), but I have a question that's tangentially related to this topic: I really don't like how quickly the F35 in the tutorial banks when using the keyboard (A, D). It rotates the craft ridiculously quickly. Is there a way to reduce/tune the sensitivity hidden somewhere in the game's files? It would be much appreciated. ejblesch 10 Posted December 4, 2015 Probably overboard for the usual player, but I use a Thrustmaster Warthog. I do fly more "real" sims. Since using it in ArmA2, my control has grown by leaps and bounds. I used a Saitek in the first ArmA, which worked fine. Back in the OFP days, I always felt a "disconnect" using a stick, and it never felt natural. Mouse and keyboard worked fine for me there.
BlenderOne 2 Posted March 28, 2016 For the advanced helicopter flightmodel you definitely need analog controls. I use a Thrustmaster HOTAS-X which allows you to separate the joystick and throttle. This gives me the option to put the controls on my left and right. The 'click' of the throttle is a bit annoying, but can be removed (voids warranty). Along with the Hotas I use Saitek rudder-pedals.
