Multiplayer Room Issues

Hi, I have a problem with Arma 2. My version is just the Arma 2 not OA or Combined ops. This is my problem: when I open up arma 2 and select multiplayer it gives me the little thing about game-play may change online etc. It loads all the Servers or rooms not sure which to call them. All the marks that show the connectivity of the room are red x's. I downloaded Arma 2 Free and multiplayer works fine so I know it's not a network error on my end. I know some forums say to use the steam updater but I didnt download this from Steam I got it off of Amazon.com.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When you start your game what version does it give in the bottom right corner?

It should be at least Version: 1.62.95248 or higher to play on most servers - update your game from the updates page, you need to install these in order:

Thank you very much! I updated it to 1.11 because that's all I could find for Arma 2 non OA or combined ops. It works now but I have a new problem. When I go try to join one of the Domination servers it kicks me out or says session lost even though I havent even played on tha server and done something wrong to get kicked out. What do I do?

Could be battleye not updating.

Could be u r running an addon the server doesn't allow.

Could be server requires an addon you don't have.

Do any of the servers work?
