zverushka 0 Posted June 27, 2002 With these catalyst drivers come a new problem- My mouse now periodically hangs and a sound is played when it gets in and out of hanging Also, in the beginning of start up, there is a "new hardware found" and the hardware found is called "unknown" I tried reinstalling the mouse drivers, reinstalling the radeon drivers. I looked in the mouse properties and nothing looks unusual. I try deleting those "unkown" devices off my system in the device manager. NOTHING works. Ugh. I think I'm going to strangle the half-assed "programmer" that made ATI's shitty drivers. I looked in ATI troubleshooting. I looked in the FAQ provided with the drivers, and the only three questions were (i'm not joking) : What is a driver? Where can I get more drivers? How can I change my resolution? LOL!!!!! But please, this stupid mouse hanging problem is ticking me off. ALso those "unknown hardware" things appearing are annoying and may be a problem. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

RN Malboeuf 12 Posted June 27, 2002 come to think of it I have noticed some stops in game play I thought that was from a badly needed reboot I'll try it today and my switch back to older drivers, I could not even touch guys in the forest last night (sniper scope), and thats never happened b4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
zverushka 0 Posted June 27, 2002 Malboef- I believe I resolved the problems. Go to the driver page for radeon 64 meg DDR VIVO. You'll see that there are "capture drivers" Download those, and It will hopefully work. Did you have any issues with unknown devices popping up at startup?
