LayHyungs 1 Posted July 24, 2012 Hello, i just bought the game a few day ago on Steam and whenever i go in multiplayer, 1 minute later my internet crash (even skype and browser doesn't work). I tried to reinstall the whole game, the BattleEye too, patching the game, install manually the BattleEye, port forward and enable firewall, but nothing worked. My internet kept crash and coming back 2-3 minute later. I've tried playing on the original Arma 2 and everything's fine. Thank you for helping me. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

St. Jimmy 272 Posted July 24, 2012 I got same problem over year ago. When ever I went playing Arma 2 in multiplayer my internet crashed. Somehow it just fixed itself in couple weeks. Only thing I can think which might cause that is Hamachi but I'm not sure did I even had that back then. I remember playing other games just fine. Sorry that I can't help you much. Acanac > Aztech DSL605EU (modem), Router D-Link DIR-615 3. Canada, Quebec, Montreal 4. Everything's fine when i play other game 5. Cable, Window 7 ultimate 64bit -Motherboard Asus p7p55-lx -CPU i5 760 @ 3.6ghz and Corsair H50 (cooling system) -Corsair 4GB ram (forgot which) -GPU Evga GTX 560 ti 1gb. -HDD Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 1.5tb -PSU Corsair 650w TX 6. If i'm quick enough i can enter a game and losing connection once i'm in, but in general i can't even go in a game, it say ''Connecting to server failed'' and i think it's even before i try to connect. dale 11 Posted July 31, 2012 sorry its taken me so long, I cant see any real problems with your hardware, so it must be software based, I would say update your Battle Eye http://www.battleye.com/download.html Once done have a friend who can connect check your connection from inside to see what error message you are getting, are you just trying to connect to one server or have you tried several? BasileyOne 10 Posted July 31, 2012 Arma2 broadcasting/flood combination with some firewalls[including recent version of most-vendors-branded applianceies/routers/modems/STB's/PVR's/TV's]can lead to such issues. so you node/PC/appliance remain blocked for some time, after that. try block broadcasting by Arma2 in you OS firewall.
