ninjie 10 Posted July 14, 2012 I have a mission, everything is set, except I want to place an IR chemlight to denote a landing area. I have 16 players para dropping from 6000 meters. It's a clear night, but I want them to be able to steer to the correct place. I've searched and searched and while I am not necessarily new to editing, I cannot remember how to place an object on start. I'm sure it's a line of code in init that probably involves a marker of some sort, but would appreciate any assistance on making it happen. Thanks if you can help, I'm a bit stuck at the moment. -N

Chickenfeed 10 Posted July 15, 2012 NEver Mind I figured it out Please say how you did it, not just "It's cool, I fixed it." Other people might want to know how to do it...
*zeewolf* 4 Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) Well if you want to place actual chemlights you're going to need glowstick models. However if you just need a coloured light source say attached to a soldier then you can just make a config.cpp (or add it to an existing one) with some light sources in CfgVehicles.
