MrFata 1 Posted June 28, 2012 Hello, Ive been looking into porting some civilian cars and police cars and i have then currently in 3ds max and i am wondering how to put them into Arma 2. I have all the editing tools provided by bis and a tool for 3ds max made by soul assassin but i don't know how to use it. I don't know where to start or the first step on anything please help. Double Doppler 10 Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) Hey, I also like to make roleplay/police models and equipment for Arma 2. I found these tutorials helped alot - they were originally designed for OFP but the ideas are essentially the same. Also, read the manuals for the tools - they help out alot too. Baraka 10 Posted July 3, 2012 Hi, me started also with those old treasures. Porting an 3D Model needs a lot of very different steps. A car is even more complicate as it has Animations and a lot of Parts to care. Maybe a static Model would be an less brainbreaking start. Think of some parking-meter or an Garage. Have a look how BI do it with their Sample Models. They are from ArmaA 1, the differences to ArmA2 are tiny. Good luck with your work! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
