tremanarch 6 Posted June 20, 2012 I have a new HDD, and a new Windows installation. Do I have to reinstall the complete ArmA II again? or can I just copy the exisiting installation folder and start the game normally?
Nicholas 5 Posted June 20, 2012 No. You must reinstall or the game will not install the correct registry entries as well. There is a lot of stuff "Behind Windows" that makes things work correctly. 1) Install ArmA II (Should already be 1.10 if downloaded from BI Store) 2) Launch ArmA II 3) Install ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead into the ArmA II directory. (Should automatically detect ArmA II) 4) Launch ArmA II: Combined Operations 5) Install BAF and/or PMC 6) Install the 1.60 Patch (It will automatically update ArmA II, OA, BAF, and PMC to the latest versions.)
