Crash to Desktop

Hey guys

Just bought this game (combined ops plus two add ons) from steam, played through most of the tutorials in bootcamp without many issues. Tried starting operation Harvest Red today, keeps crashing to desktop at the same point, just after taking off in the chopper from the carrier to start the first mission. It has crashed a few times before on other bits but never continually at the same point. My comp is well capable of handling the game (i5 3750k, 16gb Ram, GTX680, 128gb SSD).

Any advice to get it running properly?

Try running as administrator. Are there any programs in the background that may interfere with ArmA?

Just Chrome running in the background, could that be causing it?

Started the Operation Arrowhead missions and they seem to be working fine so far.

How do I run as administrator?

Right-Click on your shortcut > "Run as Administrator"

Tried running steam as administrator, still getting the same error. Don't get the option to run Arma 2 directly as admin. Anything else I could try?

Have you check on Verify game cache and see if all files are complete ?

In the library, right-click on the game. Select PROPERTIES. Now select LOCAL FILES. Next, select VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE
