Glabro 10 Posted June 15, 2012 So, I figured it was best to give ARMA II a few years after its release after I read up on the (again) buggy and near-unplayable SP campaign. During the middle of this OA got released, and was apparently of higher quality (though it didn't seem to have the open-ended and dynamic nature of the ARMA II campaign ), but was the original ARMA 2 SP campaign every fixed, officially or unofficially, to an enjoyable and bug-free state? I forced myself through the first ARMA campaign at a late stage as well, and it was still an exercise in frustration and command line tomfoolery in parts. Have some of the mods got it right when it comes to dynamic single player playing? I wonder about ARMA III already - will the release ethic be different this time? tom3kb 15 Posted June 16, 2012 (edited) Last patch for A2/OA fix many bugs in both campaigns/and in sp missions. If you have bad luck you can always got script error or something but now campains are very good imo. Ps: dont use Ai mods with bis campaigns, they can break missions. Ps2: i played a2/OA campaigns after games was released and i dont found any bugs, but maybe im lucky guy :) Edited June 16, 2012 by tom3kb
CameronMcDonald 146 Posted June 16, 2012 I only ever play up to "Dogs of War", because I personally despise that mission, but it all seems good until that point.
