BlackRaven 1 Posted June 14, 2012 I purchased Arma2 + AO a few years ago, but now i notice the games are on steam. Is there any way to obtain steam keys? I still have my books and such for arma2 (just missing the disc for AO but i've still got the book with they key on it.
max power 21 Posted June 14, 2012 Well, the thing with that is steam is a publisher, and whoever you got the box copy from is also a publisher, and those publishers are in competition, so there is no way to trade. You may attempt to sell your physical copy, or consign it, and use the funds to purchase a steam copy. Or, you may add your physical copy to steam as a non steam game, which allows you to use the overlay and steam community features, but not the built in file management system. max power 21 Posted June 14, 2012 You can buy OA off of steam, or you can buy it from Sprocket. If you do buy it from steam then you will have all of the steam features. In either case, you will be able to combine it with your disc copy of ArmA 2 and play Combined Operations. If you need a replacement disc, you will have to contact the publisher.
