[SOLVED: DayZ feature] What happen to my game ( Graphic issue )

this is my spec

minimum pass just fine recommand only lacking video ram

so my problem is i brough a product Combine operation and when i play with dayz mod graphic look weird really weird ( daylight i must zoom or put my crosshair to the ground all time to make it look bright and when am look the other way it kinda dark even in the morning )

and when dark it completely black&white i dunno why please anyone help me

Hi,

I played DayZ for few hours. The mod is using post-processing to change the color of the game if your character is wounded. Maybe you were wounded or the mod has a bug or some other problem. Try to turn off the post-processing in > options\advanced\post-processing and see if it helps.

The other option is that this effect is standard feature of the mod and that authors of DayZ intented the game to behave like this.

Have you try to find some light source and stand below it ? if this isn't bug, the colour of the game should be change it under light source. But I saw your menu colour looks correct. It isn't a bug I guess, maybe the game are created that way, that "black and white" are actually adding the horror feels for me.

Like already said, DayZ use color filters to visualize certain effects. In your case, you low blood level is visualized by washed-out colors. Get yourself a bloodpack (needs another player to assist you) or hunt a animal and cook his meat. For the latter solution you need a pile of wood, a knife and matches. A bloodpack restores your blood level completely while a piece of meet restores 800.
