Roverr 1 Posted June 10, 2012 If you are experiencing bad FPS or FPS drops with an ATI Graphics card just follow these simple instructions and solve it easily. Open Catalyst Control Center and go to Games -> 3D Application Settings. Scroll down to the bottom and enable "Triple buffering".
MavericK96 0 Posted June 10, 2012 The only thing this would do is give you smoother framerate transitions when using VSync. And even then, I'm not sure if that setting is restricted to OpenGL applications like nVidia's CP setting is, in which case it would do nothing.

I wont go against you because you probably know a lot more then me. But I tell you that since I enabled this setting I have no bad FPS and this method has been tested by 5-10 people on the same server and it works. The bad FPS occurs very often when increasing view distance and this setting does the trick.
ck-claw 1 Posted June 11, 2012 I enabled this yesterday before I saw this post, bf3 and arma seemed smoother but, I had just up graded windows 7 to 64 bit. So wouldn't know if it really made a difference?
