Complete computer crashing while playing Arma CO

Hello,

I've searched for threads on this, but couldn't find one about my exact issue. Basically, I can play the game for about 15 minutes, and then my computer crashes. It reboots fine afterwords, other than the fact that some desktop icons move.

Steam version

System Specs:

Intel Core i5 CPU @ 2.5 Ghz

GeForce GT 300M

Windows 7

Details:

First Crash: Playing the range tutorial for OA. Attempted to zoom out of scope on M24, then crashed.

Second Crash: Playing DayZ mod. Crashed immedatley after I killed a zombie.

Third Crash: Was on main menu. Went for bio-break, crashed while I was gone.

Fourth Crash: Was playing first mission of OA campaign. Was walking around airfield and it crashed

I've verified the game caches, and de-fragged them as well.

What could be causing this?

my guess is temperature.

make sure the computer is free of dust , well ventilated and all intake slots can get air.

laptops are able to play games but not designed for it... get a cooler pad or at least keep the base off the table surface (put some cd covers under the edges or something).
