zodd 14 Posted May 31, 2012 Normally zeroing refers to the range a weapon is set to. ie. a weapon zeroed to 300m will result in a round striking the point of aim at 300m. If your target is less than 300m, the point of impact of your round will be higher than the point of aim, if your target is further than 300m, your point of impact will be lower than the point of aim (ie. having a weapon zeroed at 300m means when your sights are aligned you are actually pointing the barrel of the weapon slightly upwards to compensate for the bullet drop over 300m.) Therefore the logical assumption is the command returns the range that the current weapon is zeroed to. (Probably more applicable for human players than AI?)
