LordLucifer 0 Posted June 19, 2002 i own a legal copy of flashpoint but i saw on here that fade is activated when playing a LAN game. why is that? i dont understand
ralphwiggum 6 Posted June 19, 2002 that guy you referred tried to run 2 ofp with one license. bad idea. and i don't think it was FADE related FADE activates when you run OFP and it finds out that you do not have legit copy. like tampering with executable file. LordLucifer 0 Posted June 19, 2002 so did fade activcate when he tried to play lan using 2 ofp with 1 license? is that what he meant?
ralphwiggum 6 Posted June 19, 2002 i think what he meant was that he couldn't play LAN game with his sibling using only one CD. i don't think FADE is related.
Major Fubar 0 Posted June 19, 2002 One of the other major things that activates FADE is playing online or LAN with someone using the same CD key... Then you'll get that lovely message - "Original games do not fade" As for the effects of FADE, well, no mortal can know that secret without the use of powerful and arcane magicks...
