How do you know when fade has been activated?

i own a legal copy of flashpoint but i saw on here that fade is activated when playing a LAN game. why is that? i dont understand

that guy you referred tried to run 2 ofp with one license. bad idea. and i don't think it was FADE related

FADE activates when you run OFP and it finds out that you do not have legit copy. like tampering with executable file.

so did fade activcate when he tried to play lan using 2 ofp with 1 license? is that what he meant?

i think what he meant was that he couldn't play LAN game with his sibling using only one CD.

i don't think FADE is related.

One of the other major things that activates FADE is playing online or LAN with someone using the same CD key...

Then you'll get that lovely message -

"Original games do not fade"

As for the effects of FADE, well, no mortal can know that secret without the use of powerful and arcane magicks...

it is fade related: when playing multi once, I got frozen and I left ghost player. when I reconnected to same server it said: Remember: Original Games never Fade. and both me and ghost got dc ha ha

What u all are saying cant be true.

Because I sometimes get that message too, but I havent cheated in any way.

I think that message is random.
