PreparationH 1 Posted May 18, 2012 Hello everyone! I purchased Combined Operations off of Amazon last night because it was on sale at $15(such a steal.) I installed bother Arma 2 and OA with no issue. I tried to go into multiplayer on OA and a "connection failed" message keeps appearing. I realized that the games were all 1.60 and I had 1.59. I went to the official ARMA 2 site and downloaded the 1.60 patch, installed, yet my game in the bottom right corner still says 1.5 and connection still fails. What am I doing wrong here? PHJF 1 Posted May 18, 2012 "Combined Operations" is actually two separate games. Firstly you need to download and install ArmA 2, then download and install OA to the same directory as ArmA 2, then run the 1.60 patch which should patch first OA and then ArmA 2 itself. PreparationH 1 Posted May 18, 2012 Ok, I figured out the issue finally, I don't think it was anything I was doing though. I went and downloaded the patch 1.60 from another website, http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/ArmA-2-Operation-Arrowhead-Patch.shtml , and now it works.
