sgtfishmen 10 Posted May 17, 2012 Is there an upper filesize limit of the WRP? I'm having issues with a WRP larger than 500mb. Below 500 it loads fine, above 500 the game crashes on load (though buldozer loads fine) with loads of these errors in the rpt: bimpas no longer expected on terrain - reexport xxxxxxx.wrp
Sealife 22 Posted May 17, 2012 Try all settings low before you start your terrain , then crank them up once it's loaded and your in game . Out of memory error is common on very large terrain with dense clutter and high settings . Bulldozer doesn't load clutter so it won't crash as easy .
sgtfishmen 10 Posted May 20, 2012 Yeah it's not an out of memory error. Essentially the WRP that binarize produces is 15mb rather than the 300mb it should be. After a lot of testing it seems I've hit some kind of object limit within Visitor that works in buldozer but isn't supported by binarize. Oh well, I guess it's a sign. Stop adding damn objects to your terrain!
