dga 12 Posted April 12, 2012 (edited) Hi, I got Arma2+OA. Friend of mine got Arma2Free and I wanted to host a little coop session for us. I started up pure ArmA2.exe and created the host. When my friend tried to connect to me, he got some "bad version"-error My Arma2 shows version: 1.11.86734 (steam) Arma2Free shows: 1.11 only (no steam) Any ideas? Check here: http://www.arma2.com/free Go to the bottom and see the difference between A2: Free and the full A2 version. There is of course a difference which justifies buying the full version instead of sticking to the Free version ;) Issue resolved.even tough he downloaded Arma2Free 1.11 some days ago To my knowledge the Arma 2: Free which you can download is always version 1.10 and a patch is always required to bring it up to v1.11. As far as I am aware BI never released a full Arma 2: Free version 1.11.
