Shadow problem when using anti aliasing (video attached)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I am getting strange shadow problems when using supersampling AA compared to using multisampling AA. I have tried everything, and when I try to use Supersampling AA it looks really jagged. I can only get good quality with a mix or straight 4xMSAA. I used the 8xS (Combined: 1x2 SS + 4x MS) option in Nvidia inspector for the best quality, but this weird shadow problem keeps occuring. I would love to be able to use shadows again, with good AA quality. Any help would greatly appreciated. Please see the video below, system specs here:

Does it do the same with the ingame supersampling? Try not to force anything through drivers and use ingame options. 3D resolution at 150% or even 200% with your rig, and maybe low AA or SMAA.
