ranger1979 10 Posted February 8, 2012 Hey guys, I am getting strange shadow problems when using supersampling AA compared to using multisampling AA. I have tried everything, and when I try to use Supersampling AA it looks really jagged. I can only get good quality with a mix or straight 4xMSAA. I used the 8xS (Combined: 1x2 SS + 4x MS) option in Nvidia inspector for the best quality, but this weird shadow problem keeps occuring. I would love to be able to use shadows again, with good AA quality. Any help would greatly appreciated. scruffy 22 Posted February 10, 2012 Does it do the same with the ingame supersampling? Try not to force anything through drivers and use ingame options. 3D resolution at 150% or even 200% with your rig, and maybe low AA or SMAA.
