Changing the personal waypoint indidcator.

I love having the personal waypoint feature. I didn't know about it until recently, so I wonder if other might not know about it. Perhaps this is why nobody has asked for it to be improved.

On the map, left shift / left click gives a personal waypoint which then, in the UI, gives a direction and range indicator for the player.

Above, you can see it, on Utes, just above the weapon cursor. It's fairly easy to spot.

But, here on Chernarus, it's really easy to lose the indicator on the screen. It's actually just above and left of the weapon cursor, a little below the red tree.

So, my question is, can the visibility of this indicator be improved? I asked kju if a tweak could be made and he said he thought it couldn't be a dynamic (changing in response to whatever colour was behind it) colour, but that it might be possible to change to to a different colour. Can it be done?

Funny thing is that I'm trying to figure this out too.. I've seen it changed before but don't know how to do it..
