Mister Frag 0 Posted June 9, 2002 I just came across THIS story. This card will give the Parhelia, the R300, and the NV30 some amazing competition. The only thing that worries me is that they aren't even mentioning a price.
FetishFool 0 Posted June 9, 2002 I estimate their flagship version will be beyond $2000 US.
dayglow 2 Posted June 9, 2002 If it's even real. It's just a message board post, no web sight for the company that I can find. COLINMAN
Guest Posted June 9, 2002 It looks very nice. There is something one should think about: Software takes longer to develop then hardware! I bought my Geforce3 almost a year ago; today there are still very few games that make use of its features like pixel and vertex shaders.

Lots of games out there could have much better graphic, but they don't have it because most of us can't afford expensive or non-existant hardware. You know that OFP could look a lot better if we would have better hardware. Military has it and just look at VBS. Tall grass, sea almoust like real one.... You see. Software is not a problem. Money is the problem. Gameply in any game is still smooth with my Geforce 3 though.
Guest Posted June 9, 2002 I don't agree. Nvidia has the average development and production time of 6 months for new chips. Tell me what software company can shell out a new game within 6 months? Of course part of the equation is that the hardware producers have much more resources then the avereage software firm. Software products are also much more complex and require much more testing then the hardware.
Hardliner 0 Posted June 9, 2002 I'd stick with a Herc Pryo card. Hope the letters are in the right place right.
