How to hand over Lopotev flawlessly

After many tries, I decided to anticipate the Spetznaz ambush and load up a Hind24 with spare troops and have them debarque to the north of the handover spot. Then, I had the Hind stand by. No sooner had the ambush started than it was over! The troops on the ground and the Hind took care of every last Spetznaz! After that, Flawless Victory! I only had time to direct Razor squad into the ravine! Now, if the "Patrol" task only made sense, it would be a perfect ending. I had 2 T72s surrounding the Hq and I was in a BRDM ... for over 15 minutes I just picked off one spawning enemy after another with no effect whatsoever on the task. Anyway, what a great game!
