How to merge BAF [...]

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I have problems installing BAF.

Well, in fact it would be better to simply ask how to merge

Steam BAF with Steam OA and off-Steam Arma 2.

I have no problem running CO trought OA on steam, but it appears BAF installed itself sepperatly.

So;

How do i merge BAF with my other arma 2 games?

Everytime i launch BAF on steam, datacachepreprocessor ask me for admin permission (wich i dont have, and the admin of my computer is on vacation).

But when the admin enter it, it keep asking again and again and again.

I really wanna play BAF guys, and i dont want to learn i threw 10 bucks trough the window.

So how do i merge BAF with OA, please?

If you bought BAF from Steam, you must already have OA from Steam, in which case it is already merged.

Right click on ARMA2:British Armed Forces in your steam library and select play game. Once it loads. close it down.

Right Click on Arma2:Operation Arrowhead in your Steam library and run the game. You should find that BAF mission etc are there.

If you want to run Arma2 and Arma2:OA as combined ops (i.e both together), once you have run them all at least once individually, you should be able to right-click on ARMA2:Operation Arrowhead and choose 'Launch Arma2:Combined Operations).

Alternatively, once you have run all three individually. Download the six updater which will manage your install and enable you to run as Combined Operations by default. This is the method that most people (Steam or otherwise) are using now.
