Skratsby 10 Posted November 10, 2011 Heyo chaps, long time OFPcwc and ArmA fan here. I've done some board searching, but I felt like starting a thread might give me a direct answer. I've been eyeing the midweek sale of the ArmA IP on Steam, and am tempted to pickup an ArmA II bundle. I already own a launch retail version of ArmA II and OA, but I've become extremely tired with the slow disk installs (it's terrible for vanilla ArmA II), patch fiddling, and the game breaking when I've tampered with multiple mod installations. It's in short, a chore. I can also tolerate Steam, and tend to lean towards its centralisation for myself. However. I already own BAF and the PMC expansions on Sprocket, so my question is: Am I able to install those to a Steam versions of ArmA II: CO, or will I have to repurchase PMC and BAF through Steam to do so? Another quick question, does the Steam version of ArmA II have any issues? I'd hate to spend 12 quid on something that's more trouble than my retail copy. Thanks in advance folks.
