jeywhy 10 Posted November 3, 2011 (edited) Every other thing I have tried works fine with my Saitek x52 Pro set up and IR5 head tracking. But in career mode when given the instruction to interact with brother I cannot find the hot spot to trigger the action. Anyone got any ideas? I have also posted this question on the Steam forum as well. So if I get an answer on one I will post it to the other. Thanks Edited November 6, 2011 by jeywhy
DnA 5143 Posted November 4, 2011 The entire character is the hot spot. Does the action also not appear after a few seconds? Once the action is there left mouse button should activate it by default. If you completely cannot find it, you can bypass the conversation and start the next contract immediately from the Esc > Heliport > Contracts menu (but you'll miss the introductory information). jeywhy 10 Posted November 4, 2011 (edited) Solved DnA Thanks for the reply. Yes that works, cheers. I also resolved my problem by changing to the external view, where I am positioned behind Tom. I am facing Joe who is in his office, he has his back to the window that looks out onto the Heli pads. With the Alt button held down I clicked several times in different spots high above Joe's head, in the green coloured cladding area. There was a brief flash of an icon, which I could not make out and then the narrative started. That's good. I backed out of the program and resumed the scanario. I could now see the "hand" icon near Joe's body. I clicked it worked. I then transferred to the in-body view and I could still see the hand icon, that also worked. I hope this helps others who may have experienced a similar situation. Edited November 6, 2011 by jeywhy
jeywhy 10 Posted November 6, 2011 (edited) Ignore this, I double posted as the original did not initially show on the forum. Edited November 6, 2011 by jeywhy
