Smoke and explosion particles change colours

hi all, basically, my brother installed arma 2, arma 2 OA (with expansions) on his day old Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E520 Laptop and basically, whilst ingame, smoke particles (wether it be from exaust fumes, explosions or simply firing a machine gun and also lights from lighthouses and street lights) seem to change colour dramatically, like yesterday whilst in a hind D rocket smoke trails were red, and on impact to the ground it flashed green, blue and purple, also street lights are usually blue and purple, he just installed OA this morning and has the same problem, he has tried swapping between the two graphics cards with no avail. We've also updated the graphics driver, yet again with no avail, and basically cannot find anything on the internet to fix this problem so im calling out to the community for a helping hand.

his specs are

Core i5 2410M 2.3GHz (turbo 2.0 up to 2.9GHz), 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 15.6" LED, DVDRW, AMD HD6630M + Intel 3000, Webcam, Windows 7 Professional 64

Wow. That looks pretty sweet! I have never seen anything like it.

I think you might get more help in the troubleshooting forum. Maybe a moderator can move your thread.

hmm actually, i remember someone having the problem aswell. Its been a while though so I dont think I will find the thread again :o

other than that, like Max said, the troubleshhoting area is more appropriate for this
