Tacklebait 10 Posted September 19, 2011 Well finally the registration process for this forum works again! I've been waiting a week now... So I've been working in and around helis for the last 10 years and find them absolutely awesome. I would be stoked if any pilots kickin around these forums would like to spend some time throwin me through the paces of basic flight/ long lining ect. Picked up a new 24 inch monitor and grabbing track ir 5 soon, for this game. Possibly a giant waste of money, but from what i've seen from the community preview, there is quite a few hours of enjoyment to be had through my winter months perfecting a nice smooth ride. -Steve Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

EMann 10 Posted September 20, 2011 As a first time user of TrackIR5 + pro clip, i have been experimenting with the setup for the last couple of wks. I was a bit skeptical at first given the price, however after a bit of time getting familiar with software etc. I was very impressed with how much it has improved my flying in a short period. Picking up cargo is made less difficult and allows me to see the load i'm carrying, also being able to slightly move my head to the left has made judging distances to the skids a lot easier. It's definitely changed how i play flight/car sims, especially TOH/CP, i think the two are a must if immersion is your thing.
