Getting the "drop" command to move relative to model space

Recommended Posts

I'm setting up the steam effect for the Nimitz but unfortunately the "velocity vector" argument is in world space. I have the nimitz set as the "object" for the last argument but I don't think that does anything regarding the particles' movement direction. Obviously I want the particles to travel aft of the ship... but right now they travel south of the world no matter the orientation of the ship.

Is this possible in the arguments of the array somehow? If not I'm probably going to have to try and come up with some overly complicated way of getting the direction of the ship and converting it into lateral and longitudinal values... gross.
