d30 enemy shooting in direct mode

hello, I did a mission and put a d30 enemy at a distance of 800 meters or so, put some soldiers nearby, when I shot them, the d30 repels the attack but did not hit me, all the shots fall like 500 meters away ¿how can I configure it so that it can shoot and hit directly to objectives that are at medium distances?

that should be something related to your d30 is just placed on a "hill" and cant get his guns far enough down, i use them at 50 meter on airport grounds and they hit correctly..

Well, there is something unreal, because i play as sniper and i am able to kill members of several d30s at a distance of 1000 meters , while they shoot me several times and not hit me, In real life the artillery guns should overcome a sniper (in direct fire) at that

distance.

Is it possible to increase the power of the d30 in direct mode so that defeat the sniper?

try adjusting the skill of the crew of the d30, with it set to max, what happens then?

Well, set to the maximum and did not notice any difference.

Is there any script related to this?

The D30 AI has no idea how to fire the gun directly. Their shells will fall hundreds of meters short at typical sniper ranges.

I think they simply weren't 'taught' how to use their scopes.

If the howitzer is meant to kill the player with a single shell as a punishment for missing, you could just spawn a shell directly on the player a second after the gun fires.

sounds interesting, sorry for the question (I'm starting to edit missions) but how can I create a script to do it?
