Connecting to ArmA 2 servers with CO/OA?

I own ArmA 2 CO, purchased through Steam. A gaming community that I am a member of runs an ArmA 2 server (we're using straight-up ArmA 2 so that A2Free people can join). I can connect using the ArmA2 client, but the server does not appear when I search for servers using the Arma2OA client, even with ArmA 2 content enabled.

Is this possible, or am I just stuck using the ArmA2.exe?

Yep you need to use the arma2.exe.
